Gastronomic tours
From inns to restaurants, from tables d'hôte to farms
where you can taste their produce, you can organise your own
tour of local flavours.
Draw up your own programme : in Nérac, taste the famous
terrine, with melon and chocolate. A little further on enjoy
an Armagnac aged in oak barrels. In Lavardac, learn how to
tell the difference between goose and duck, half-cooked or
fresh foie gras. In Vianne, buy fresh produce from the market
and try the strawberries. In Barbaste, order a wood pigeon
salmi. Ask them to give you the recipe for the little potatoes-ceps
with garlic cooked in goose fat. Savour a thousand and one
local products, but also don't miss out on the fresh vegetables
from the market garden, the fruits of the "largest orchard
in France".
